WhatsApp, the messenger service owned by Facebook is always working on new innovative features for its users. According to new news, the company is now adding support for the ability to preview your voice notes on WhatsApp for iOS before sending them to others.
The new feature was detected by the WABetaInfo, and comes at a time when the chat service is testing a feature to let users play voice notes at varying speeds. This new feature will reportedly let you record a voice note and then hear the message before you send it. Reviewing voice notes is a feature that could become a little bit handy, particularly considering the unfortunate location of the voice note button in the chat app.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will add a new “Review” button for users to listen in and verify the voice note contains only the expected content, before the voice note is sent. If there is something wrong with the voice note or there was a disturbance, you can simply discard it and repeat the process of recording and reviewing it all over again. WABetaInfo states there’s no official release date for the feature, but that it should come for both iOS and Android when it is ready.
