HP's Contactless service on wheels reaches in 25 more cities in India

To help experts and home users stay safe in social distancing times, PC and printer major HP on Monday announced its Contactless Service On Wheels service is being extended to 25 cities, including Pune, Cochin, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad.

The service is currently operational in Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, NOIDA, and Ghaziabad. The HP professionals in the vans follow all health and safety guidelines while giving service delivery closer to home.

"The service will offer excellent experience of safety, reliability, and business continuity to our valuable customers and work from home professionals," said Vinay Awasthi, MD, HP Inc. India market.

Various customers who have postponed onsite service for their PC or printer at home due to social distancing and health advisory measures can avail of this service now. To enjoy this service, customers can register with HP's service team who schedule an appointment for the customers.

The onsite technician will come in the van with the requisite parts. Customers can give their product to the technician who will carry out the repairs in the van and return after service.

For major repairs, the device will be taken to the service center and delivered to the customer at a later date, announced by the company.
