Instagram Easter Egg allows you to choose different logos for its 10th anniversary

Instagram just turned 10. The photo-sharing app was launched on October 6, 2010, and it has since evolved into one of the most popular and biggest social media platforms. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Instagram has a cool Easter Egg on its app.

Instagram tweeted the Easter Egg using emojis leaving it to users to figure out how to activate it. The first bit of the emoji code is pretty easy where you have to open the settings menu of the Instagram app. The second part which is the main one was a little tricky to figure out but we ultimately got it.

What you have to do is open the Instagram app, go to settings, and pull the page down. Once you do that, you’ll see a string of emojis will appear, and a new page with a list of Instagram logos. You can choose any of the Instagram logos, and the same will appear on your phone.

The list of Instagram logos includes the current one, the classic one from 2010, the redesigned classic from 2011, the original one from 2010, and even the prelaunch logo that has codename slapped on it. Instagram has different color hued logos to choose from such as twilight, sunrise, aurora, pride, gold, dark, light, and very dark. You can switch between any of these logos and change them for this month.

Instagram’s Easter Egg is available on Android and iOS, and users in India can access it as well. It may not be available immediately to all users but it will show up soon enough.
