Zomato started home delivering alcohol in Odisha's capital,Bhubaneswar,from today. Zomato says, The service, named Zomato Wine Shops, will be available on the app’s home page, and will allow users to select any product from the listed retailers (just like grocery stores) between 9 am and 6 pm, the company said. Zomato will later expand the service to other cities in the state such as Rourkela, Balasore, Balangir, Sambalpur, Berhampur, and Cuttack. The app will only feature licensed retailers, who have applied for the service.
In Last week Zomato and Swiggy started home delivery for alcohol in Jharkhand's Rachi and it isn't clear that Swiggy will follow the Zomato in Odisha's state.Maharashtra state also allowed Zomato and Swiggy to deliver alcohol in selected districts,except Mumbai
